Welcome to our Thanksgiving Art & Gratitude Parade!

Thanksgiving is just under two weeks away, we are celebrating at the Art Licensing Show with a Portfolio Members, open-submission of Thanksgiving Art & Gratitude.

“There is always something to be grateful for…”

We’re inviting our ALSC artists to share a piece of Thanksgiving art that communicates and celebrates gratitude, thanks, love, peace, word art, inspiration, family, friends and even pumpkin pie if you’d like (for the love of pumpkin pie, which always seems in short supply the rest of the year)! This is the time when we take a pause to share a meal and celebrate with family, friends, and loved ones to express a prayer of gratitude for the people, the love and the things we have in our lives.

ART+Gratitude

For us at the Art Licensing Show, we’re starting this celebration off by expressing how grateful we are for the amazing Artists on our site. And for the Art Directors, Product Development Managers, CEOs and Manufacturers who use the Art Licensing Show to fulfill their art licensing needs.

Make this the time for choosing gratitude, expressing kindness and building your own happiness. Being grateful and expressing kindness can also bring out the best in those around us. Some evidence suggests that we can actively choose to practice gratitude — and that doing so raises our happiness. And you don’t need to be a neuroscientist to know that choosing to focus on good things makes you feel better than focusing on bad things.

Make gratitude a practice regardless of how you feel, not just every November — but all year long. And let’s express gratitude not just for the big things like good heath, a job you love doing, having children and grandchildren, but for the things you experience in life and nature like — the smell of the fall season, the song on the radio that reminds you of high school or hearing from an old friend or relative. And even for Uncle Freddy, who will probably have a bit too much to drink this Thanksgiving while he shares his political views on the recent election. Let’s Give Thanks…. for all of it.

  1. What a wonderful show of art! Each image reveals all the personalities on this site. It’s wonderful! Thank you Cherish, for setting it all up! Your dream come true!

  2. My heart is SO FULL with gratitude for each and every one of you. Thank you for being the beautiful rainbow of colors that makes our community here SO special. It means so much to me that you are all enjoying the ALSC site and growing in your art professions and personal friendships as well. We really have the nicest and most creative community on the web right here. I am blessed to know so many of you personally and you have all had a lasting impact on my heart.

  4. This might sound odd, but I’m grateful for the World Wide Web. That and incredible recent innovations in digital art have utterly changed everything for us chickens… we are able to literally manifest our artwork and our dreams into a space where millions of people can see it – and gives us endless leeway and opportunities, too. This website is an example of not just creative art, but creative thinking: how can we put our art someplace where the right people can find it? This literal magnification of our dreams is wonderful and I am very thankful for it.

  5. Right now I am grateful for meeting/connecting with all kinds of wonderful artists here. Personally I’m grateful for this time of year, the crisp mornings and the fog in the valley, the beautiful leaves and the windy days. It is truly my favorite time of year! And of course, my family, my warm home, etc etc etc. <3
