art licensing design for the gift industry tumbler challenge

Abbey Gift has selected their TOP 6 Mother’s Day/Father’s Day Designs for ArtLicensingShow.com 2018 Tumbler Gift Design Challenge!

About 70 designs were submitted from ArtLicensingShow.com® (ALSC) Portfolio Members and all invoked the warm and loving fuzziness you want your parent to feel on Mother’s or Father’s Day. We collaborated with Abbey Gift to try something new and encouraged artists to submit mock-up designs on a travel tumbler. Thank you to all of the ALSC Portfolio Members who participated. We partner with art directors year-round to offer challenges that will meet the licensing needs of real companies. Check out the Art Challenges group if you want to find out what’s next!

NOTES + TIPS FROM THE ABBEY GIFT JUDGES:

“We would like to thank you for the opportunity to judge designs for the Mother’s Day/ Father’s Day tumbler challenge. There were so many nice designs it was hard to choose. It was interesting to see where the votes from the creative team overlapped and brought the standout designs to the top!

A successful design for this application is one that can target moms and dads of any age. A design that has subject matter that fits the gift giving season but is also general enough that it can be marketable year-round. CA Gift/ Abbey Gift strives to add inspiration and joy to gift giving through our sentiments paired with great designs. It was nice to see designs where attention was given to the sentiment integrated into the design.”
